Running has been a core part of my life for as long as I can remember, shaping not just my athletic ability but also my mindset, discipline, and lifestyle. I started running in middle school simply as a way to stay fit, but everything changed when my coach recognized my potential and invited me to train with the 8th-grade team as a 6th grader. My first timed mile was 7:02, and by the end of middle school, I had dropped it to 5:01. ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿปโ€โ™‚๏ธ

As I continued to push my limits, I began training with my high school team while still in middle school and officially joined them after promotion, earning a spot on varsity as a freshman. Over the years, I competed at the USATF National Junior Olympics for two years, racing both the 800m and 1500m against some of the best young athletes in the country. By the end of high school, I had achieved personal bests of 1:59 in the 800m and 4:29 in the mileโ€”times that reflected years of dedication, grit, and perseverance. ๐Ÿ…

Running has taught me more than just endurance. It instilled in me the value of consistency, mental toughness, and the ability to push beyond perceived limits. It showed me that success is built on daily effort, resilience through setbacks, and an unwavering commitment to progress. Spending time with family, friends, and my pets is something I truly cherish, no matter how busy life gets. After a long day, taking my pets for a walk is one of my favorite ways to decompress, clear my mind, and enjoy the beauty of the sky as the day winds down.
